Our Church

Debre Mihret Kidus Michael Wo Kidst Dingle Mariam Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahdo Church  had been established in June 2004, with few members. Our service to the Orthodox Tewahdo Christian community has been expanding since we have started .Please, you are always welcome to join us ,We are located at 610 South Dakota Ave, Sioux Falls, South Dakota .

The purpose of the church and its administrative structures

  • The primary purpose of the church shall be to bring together followers of the Ethiopian Orthodox church Tewahdo faith and to share in the worship of God in accordance with the teaching and practices of the church

  • The church also constitutes a spiritual unit of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahdo Church accepting and abiding by its teaching and spiritual rules with respect to matters of Faith, Worship and Creed. The church is governed by its duly elected board of trustees, and parish council in accordance with Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church and Other Relevant Religious regulations of the  State of South Dakota and these by-laws.

  • The church shall maintain necessary finances to pursue religious and spiritual fulfillment of its congregation /according to Religious Incorporation law of the state south Dakota through membership fee assessment , donations and other related legal fund raising activities.
